Parent & Child Drama & Play
Saturdays | 10am–10.45am | Three Towns Libraries*
Build the bond between you and your child with our interactive sessions! We use music, movement, sensory games, imaginative play and storytelling to explore the world around us. Develop core skills like confidence, ability to be curious and explore new ways to play and improve communication.
Suitable for children aged 1–2yrs.
Nursery Drama & Play
Saturdays | 11am–12pm | Three Towns Libraries*
In this class children will get their first experience of drama, as well as learning about being creative and expressive through play and storytelling! These classes will incorporate different sensory elements to suit the age of participants. From using sound to portray characters like “the big bad wolf” to using our imaginations to turn a box into a castle for our heroes. This class will allow your child to unleash their creative potential! Suitable for children aged 3–4yrs.
Primary 1–3 Drama
Wednesdays | 4pm–5pm | Ardrossan Civic Centre*
Our early primary class will take part in drama games and activities, which will help build their confidence and creativity. Children will have amazing imaginary adventures and create their own courageous characters brave enough to tackle any situation they find themselves in, whether that be outer space, the dense jungle, or even the depths of the ocean! These classes will focus on core skills development such as developing communication and confidence building through play, character work, devising, and the basics of performance etiquette.
Suitable for children in Primary 1, 2 & 3.
Junior Youth Theatre
Wednesdays | 5.15pm–6.45pm | Ardrossan Civic Centre*
Our upper primary class is for children who want to play and perform! This class allows children to be themselves in a space where creativity, play, and drama are the focus. Using drama games to build and develop our drama skills in a fun way, we then utilise these skills for our end of year show! This class works toward one show a year, they will have the chance to perform on a stage for their family and friends to showcase all their hard work. Rehearsals include dancing, singing, and acting. The perfect class for any budding young actors out there!
Suitable for children in Primary 4, 5 & 7.
Senior Youth Theatre
Wednesdays | 6.50pm–8.20pm | Ardrossan Civic Centre*
Our senior drama sessions are for young people who want to develop skills and perform! This class allows young people to be themselves in a space where creativity, play, and drama are the focus. Through improvisation, devising and drama activities, participants will develop the dramatic skills to take them into rehearsals and then onto the stage! This class works toward one show a year, they will have the chance to audition for different roles in the production and will each be given a script to take home and learn from. Rehearsals include dancing, singing, and acting. This class is for those who want to develop and hone their skills in a fun and creative way!
Suitable for young people aged 12–18
Tuesdays | 7pm–8.30pm | Saltcoats Town Hall*
Develop skills, meet new people, have fun and perform! This class allows adults to build and develop their confidence and learn new skills in the world of performing arts. Through improvisation, devising and drama activities, participants will develop the dramatic skills to take them into rehearsals and then onto the stage! In a laidback and fun environment our classes are supportive and designed for everyone, from beginners to Oscar winners, no previous acting experience is required.
Suitable for people aged 18 years +
Mondays | 7pm–8.30pm | Ardeer Neighbourhood Centre*
Our Community Choir within the Three Towns area will help bring people together through singing and performing. Our weekly sessions are fun, welcoming and delivered by professional musicians and performers. With a focus on wellbeing, breathing and singing for happiness, there will still be a performance element for those wishing to get on a stage and shine!
Suitable for people aged 18 years +

Trinity Arts Awards Planning and delivery at all levels
Our Arts Awards programme gives children and young people the opportunity to attain a Trinity Arts Award. Our school projects can have a performance/production based outcome or pupils can work towards creating a physical or digital art work. Specialist Areas: Drama, Performing Arts, Technical Theatre, Visual Arts, Photography and Filmmaking.
