Exciting times at Triple Act with award of £24,000

Triple Act Theatre & Arts are delighted to announce they have been awarded multi-year funding from The Roberston Trust for three years totalling £24,000.  Triple Act will use the funding to deliver our new Early Years programme for families and children in the Three Towns and across North Ayrshire. The work will build strong relationships, enhance child development, build confidence and creativity, and improve overall health and wellbeing.

Kate Stevens, Director at Triple Act Theatre & Arts said, “We are absolutely delighted that Triple Act Theatre & Arts has been awarded £24,000 by The Robertson Trust. This funding will enable us to develop and strengthen our Early Years outreach in the Three Towns and across North Ayrshire. Despite the ongoing challenges of the last couple of years, it has been a very exciting time for Triple Act with performance opportunities for our Junior and Senior Youth Theatre alongside out Technical & Theatre Production team, and our Adult Drama and Community Choir groups. We are incredibly grateful to The Robertson Trust for this funding support, that will help us grow and develop within the community.”

The Robertson Trust said, “We are pleased that we have been able to offer a multi-year award to Triple Act Theatre and Arts to support its Early Years Programme. Through this project, parents and children from 12 months to 7 years old will be able to participate in drama activities and to develop skills, confidence and nurture new relationships. This project supports our focus to alleviate and prevent the effects of poverty and trauma on people living in Scotland and we look forward to seeing how the work progresses over the next three years.”

The Robertson Trust is currently the largest independent grant-making trust in Scotland. Inspired by the example of its founders, the Robertson Sisters, it has a vision for a fair and compassionate Scotland where everyone is valued and able to flourish.
