Funded by the Scottish Government Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, this six-week writing course will provide you with a non-judgemental, supported space to explore your own wellbeing through writing exercises and creating poetry and spoken word pieces accumulating in an opportunity to perform at an open mic event.
Sessions will be designed and delivered by Triple Act Director, Kate Stevens, and Poet, Transformation Coach, and Owner of Seahorse, Molly Murray. You will explore personal writing exercises while socialising and sharing with like-minded peers and building confidence. You will also have the opportunity to work through the body on releasing tension through movement and voice, while building performance skills for spoken word poetry.
The sessions will be supported with mindfulness exercises and guidance on taking care of your mental health and wellbeing while going on this journey of writing for wellbeing.
